FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some things you might be wondering before ordering! If you can’t find what you’re looking for, feel free to get in touch

Ordering & Portraits

What kind of photos should I send?

Clear, well-lit photos are best! Try to choose photos where your pet’s features, colours and markings can be seen clearly. Feel free to send a few different photos for reference too.

Can you draw more than one pet?

Yes! Most portrait styles can include multiple pets. You’ll find the available options on each individual product page.

Can I request specific details or ideas?

Yes! I love hearing about your pet’s personality, favourite things and funny little quirks. Kindly state them on the ordering page.

For themed portraits like Sweet Dreams, these details are what make the artwork extra personal. You tell me what your pet might be dreaming about, and I’ll bring their little dream world to life!

Will my portrait look exactly like the photo?

Your photos will be used as references for your pet’s features, colours and markings, but every piece is created in my own art style. As each portrait is handmade, little artistic differences are part of what makes every piece one of a kind

Can I make changes after placing my order?

If I haven’t started working on your piece, I’ll do my best to accommodate changes. Once work has begun, additional changes or requests may incur an extra charge.

Please double-check your photos, names and other details before submitting your order!

Turnaround & Delivery

How long will my portrait take?

Every portrait is made by hand, so turnaround times may vary depending on my current order queue and the type of artwork you’ve chosen.

You can find the latest estimated turnaround time on the individual product page.

How will my order be delivered?

Smaller orders are mailed locally within Singapore via SingPost.

For larger custom paintings, delivery can be arranged separately. Any additional delivery charges will be discussed and agreed upon before delivery is arranged.

Caring for Your Artwork

How should I care for my hand-painted leather piece?

Each piece is hand-painted, so a little extra care will help keep it looking its best

• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
• Keep away from sharp objects, such as keys, that may scratch the painted surface.
• Avoid leaving the painted surface pressed against other painted or coated items for long periods, as they may stick together.
• When not in use, store your piece somewhere cool and dry.

How should I care for my hand-painted bark portrait?

Each bark piece is natural and hand-painted, so a little care will help keep it looking its best

• Keep away from water and avoid getting the bark wet.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
• Display in a cool, dry and well-ventilated area.
• As Singapore can be humid, avoid areas with excessive moisture such as bathrooms, kitchens or directly beside open windows.
• Keep away from sharp objects that may scratch the painted surface.

As natural bark can respond to changes in humidity over time, slight variations are part of the character of this natural material.

Events & Collaborations

Can I invite Soh.colourful to my event?

Yes! I’m available for live pet caricatures, brand activations, café events, corporate events and other creative collaborations.

Do you work with brands and cafés?

Absolutely! I love finding fun ways to bring pet art into different spaces and experiences from live drawing and pop-ups to custom illustrations, merchandise and collaborative projects.

How can we work together?

Head over to my Work With Me page and tell me a little about your brand, event and what you have in mind.

Whether you already have an idea or want to create something together, I’d love to hear from you. Slightly silly ideas are always welcome.
